The Wedding Poet
Kate, The Wedding Poet, is a widely published author. She became The Wedding Poet after trying to find poetry for her own wedding and finding that although lots of the poems were lovely, and all about love, they weren’t about her love, or her relationship, or how she felt. Kate wanted a poem that was completely personal to her and her partner. She wanted a poem that was unique and original and so personal, that it could only be about them. So, being a poet, she wrote something herself, and so The Wedding Poet was born.
Being The Wedding Poet is a wonderful job. Kate gets to meet people at a really happy time in their lives and hears the most romantic stories. Writing poetry for other people is a special talent and Kate has been delighted to provide poems for people that really make their special day special. Having a bespoke poem written means a couple have something wonderful and unique to read out during their wedding and their guests are completely delighted to hear something so personal and meaningful. Some of Kate's clients have been moved to tears when they’ve read their poem for the first time. Being The Wedding Poet really is a wonderful job!
